created a panel and tab in ribbon, not showing up on sreen

      In the CUI I created a panel dragged and dropped into a new tab that I also created under the ribbon. Clicked apply and OK but does not show up on the screen. Is there one more step that I am missing?

Maybe a UI glitch, are your toolbars locked? Doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong.

Yes my toolbar is locked. Do I need to unlock it?

My toolbars and tabs are always glitching. I would try anything. Try unlocking and placing, then share results.

Normally you do not need to unlock.

LOCKUI variable need to be turned off before you have any screen menu changes: remember to also save your workspace(s) that are affected with WSSAVE command before you turn LOCKUI back on.

Not getting anywhere. Lock or unlock. Still can't get my custom tab to show up. I see it in the CUI and the panel is in the tab but won't show up on the screen.

Screenshots of your CUI in the various stages might be worth sharing, we can't otherwise see what it is you are doing.

    I don't see how this is going to help? Attached are to JPG files one showing the tab that I made (Vince's Favorites) and the other in panel that I made (Things I use alot). Which I dragged into the tab file called "Vince's Favorites". All saved under workspace "Vince 2015". My lockui is not locked. when I created the tab and panel my lockui was unlocked.

Also when I right click on the ribbon and then "SHOWS TABS" all the tabs are checked off but "Vince's Favorites" is not there.

You missed two more screenshots: the expanded "customize workspace" screenshot the left and right panels expanded that show what is active in that wrkspace, and the screenshot that confirms you have your tab and panel as part of that workspace.

If all you have done is create a tab and panel, and nothing else, you will see nothing different on screen when you close CUI command.

You also need to do a few other things.

1)Select the workspace in the left panel.

2)Drag the tab to the workspace ribbon.

3)Save and close

4)Switch to another workspace

5)Switch back.

Apparently, you cannot get the tab to show unless you refresh the workspace.  That apparently doesn't happen when you close the cui editor.

Here is one snapshot but don't understand about the second. The one attached shows the left and right panels. The left has Vince 2015 current under the WORKSPACES and the right pane the RIBBON expanded does not show the tab Vince's Favorites. How do I get the TAB to shown?
