Count Selection at the bottom of the shortcut menu

I couldn't find this topic but, I'm that it has been discussed before. We moved to 2023 and found the Count Selection command at the bottom of the shortcut menu when right-clicking with selected objects. We use Select Similar a lot and our users are frustrated with change. Has anyone figured out how to move select similar to the bottom?

Your screenshot shows a very customized right-click menu, that's not stock plain-AutoCAD 2023 right-click menus. Share with us a screenshot of your ABOUT command pop-up please, plus an expanded image better showing what you have selected that triggers the right-click menu you shared in your first post.

the selection is just a polyline and the extra commands are from an add-on software in Civil 3D.

This is CIVIL3D or?, it is NOT AutoCAD (the board you are posting in) - wrong board for your question.

Yes, I'm running Civil 3D but, it isn't a Civil 3D question. It is an AutoCAD customization question. Thanks for being helpful!

You don't have these additional context items in AutoCAD, so it can't be an AutoCAD customization question 😉

The question is whether I can move Select Similar back down to the bottom of the shortcut menu. I was able to find it in the CUI but, I can't seem to move it down.

As long as the CUIx file is not read-only, you should be able to simply drag items up or down to re-order them.

If only it were that easy. I can drag it the bottom of the list but, the Count Selection command still sits under it in the menu. Count Selection must be hard-coded or come from another menu component.

This is neither a standard AutoCAD nor Civil menu, it is a 100% custom menu and see dmfrazier: You should be able to reorder these items by drag'n'drop, if it isn't locked.

What is the name of the CUIx file that contains this menu?

In your profile, is it loaded as a partial under an enterprise CUI?

Can you re-locate other items in the same CUI?

Because of this, we can not reproduce it 1:1 on our side.

Afters your drag test: Is it saved in this order? Reopen your cuix and check it again.

Are the edit saved, just not displaying well?

Add another item to this menu, does it appears in your context menu?

Ask the producer, you said it comes from a plugin..

I was able to test/recreate your issue now and I say both item are added from internal code and not from the cui context-menu definition!

You can delete them in your definition, but they will appears the same way.

detach all partial or enterprise menus, but they still appears.

I appreciate you trying! It is a pretty minor issue but muscle memory just brings you to the bottom of the menu for select similar. I believe that our work-around will be creating a keyboard shortcut and getting used to a slightly different workflow.

Use "ctrl+shift+a" as a built in keyboard shortcut.
