Corrupt dwg ?

Hi, I have some dwgs that I want to print to pdf, but I believe they are corrupted since neither Inventor or Autdocad cant seem to produce any meaningful results. Can someone help me to convert the attached files which I need to be in pdf format for my thesis?

Thanks,

Joergen

Hi @Anonymous,

I opened your first file and ran Audit, Purge, -Purge>regapps, and finally Exporttoautocad, I then plotted to AutoCAD PDF (General Documentaiton without any error. IS this not what you are seeing?

Hei Jørgen.

Klart man må hjelpe en annen nordmann 🙂

Hi Jorgen.

The files opened just fine in AutoCAD 2017.

Attached, you'll find PDFs of them all. The first drawing was 4 drawings in one, so i made four separate PDFs.

Like the others, I too can open and plot to PDFs the first 3-files in your attachment.

What exactly happens to you?
What is your AutoCAD version?
Which PDF driver are you trying to use?
What exactly is the error message?

Thanks for the help guys, and a special thanks to Trond for all the prints. I guess I have to look up the audit command. I thought all I had to do was to click export - pdf - save, but this doesnt work out for me in neither Autocad og Inventor (2017).

Hi @Anonymous,

Here is a link for information on Audit. You might also check out Purge.
