Copy Paste (Unwanted Objects and Misaligned of the object)

Hi all,

I need some helps. I imported few drawings from .dgn to .dwg.
Then, I copy and paste all the drawings into one master file.

However, here are some issues happened:

1. Additional objects (unwanted) appeared which are originally not there.

2. The objects location changed. (eg. the text were supposed to be at the top right of the drawing but it appeared at the left).

3. The properties of the lines and texts seem to be different from the original.

Can someone please kindly advice me how shall I do?

Thank you.

Best regards,

TK

A few thing you may want to try:

  • "Drop" everything in DGN and make sure the view is on "TOP" before saving as DXF and opening in AutoCAD.
  • Then, Check the layers on both drawing are the same. (On, Off, linetype, ect...)
  • Check the UCS and SNAPANG are the same..
  •  Try WBLOCK and inserting - if not getting the result with XREF
  • Make sure both drawing are using the same CTB file (ex. 'Display plot styles' on Page Setup)
