COPY/MOVING WITH A CURSOR

hi!

So, this is my problem: I have been always moving/ copying/ rotate object, by marking them, giving the base point, and then with my mouse bringing them to the place I want. But now, I don't know what i have pressed or did, when I want to do the same things, my objects aren't attached to the mouse-cursor, but the programm demand, that I klick the secon base point and move the object automatically there. It is very inaccurate and put a drag on my work. 

Please, does anybody know, how can I change it ?

Sounds like it could be your DRAGMODE variable. Make sure it is set to Auto or 2

hi! I just tried your solution at work, where I actually have this problem...and it doesnt work. It's an AUTOCAD2019 in german and somehow I can not even type this command here. Can not find it in german as well...maybe you know how to help me once again

What happens when you try to type it? Do you get unknown command or some type of error?  I am not familiar with the German version.

German should be "zugmodus" if the translator is correct-let me know if it is....

hi! thanks, it was a bit my mistake. When I was typing "dragmode" the programm didnt show me that this kind of command exist. but when totally hopeless pressed ENTER, the commend did appear and everything work since than! THANK YOU, SO MUCH ONCE AGAIN.
