Converting back SLANTED polylines to TEXT/MTEXT generated from PDFIMPORT

The text imported from the PDF is SHX text, but I am having trouble recognizing the SLANTED polylines. I added slanted fonts in the Recognition Settings, but when I close the settings and go back into the settings the slant goes away in the font. Please Advise.

Nothing in AutoCAD will fix that today: run your scan/PDF through a 3rd party text recognition software then copy/paste into your DWG file.
