Constraining Point to an Infinite Line

Is it possible to constrain an end point of a line to lay on another line?  I need the end point of the horizontal dashed line to remain on the vertical solid line that it is currently laying on, but be able to move in the Y direction.

Hi and Welcome to AutoCAD Forum,

how about turning ON ortho mode ( F8 ) for vertical and horizontal moving directions .

You can use the Coincident constraint, pick the endpoint of the horizontal line, then use the Object option and select the vertical line.  You may have to at least add a constraint to the vertical line for Vertical depending on your needs.
