For seven years I've used AutoCAD2011 on my Dell Intel Xeon CPU/w3565@3.2, 18GB Ram, 64x. AutoCAD has worked great for years. This past two-ish years the commands were slow to be executed. The delay produces the thinking wheel and diminishes my productivity. I upgraded the video card to NVIDIA GeForce GT730. Not the solution. In desperation, I purchased a new computer, DELL Precision 5820, Xeon W2125@4.0, 32 Ram, NVIDIA QUADRO P2000. Hmm, not as slow (no wheel) but delay is still there - productivity is still low for the $ spent. Blogs have suggested to turn Dell Precision Optimizer to OFF and AutoCAD Hardware Acceleration to OFF. Not the solution. What is the problem? Is it Windows10Pro? Or am I at the point I must buy new AutoCAD?
Thanks
