Hi,

yep, this seems to be a new issue an I think Autodesk is already working on that.

What you can do in the meantime:

start command _GRAPHICSCONFIG

  • try if disabling "high quality graphics ..." helps
  • try if disabling "smooth line display" helps
  • if both of the above don't get it solved, try disabling "hardware acceleration"

Now better?

It seems that AutoCAD has this issue with some drivers, the above items should make it working well (knowing that disabling hw-acceleration can be a hard workaround, hope Autodesk get it solved soon).

Thank you

disabling "hardware acceleration" worked but autocad gets too slow 😞

it's not usable when I disable 'hardware acceleration'

Hi,

>> it's not usable when I disable 'hardware acceleration'

I know, it depends on the type of drawings you work on how big the impact is.

The other chance might be (no promise!) to install a newer or an older graphic card driver.

Thanks for help 🙂

I'll try hardware updates.

If updates don't work ,should I wait ?

Hi,

It depends on how much the impact is and how experienced you are with graphic card drivers (as this can be sometimes a nightmare to install an older version of a driver).

At least, if nothing works and get's that done I guess you can't do anything else than wait for a hotfix.

Sorry, - alfred -

Nothing changed 😞

I'll wait for hotfix. Do you think, will autodesk share hotfix for this?

I didn't have this problem before.

Hi,

I'm not Autodesk and I can't speak for them!

But I guess they will, as it is a major issue (imho) and the number of cases having these info's raised in the last days.

Can you show us some screen shots? Your wording is a bit vague. This almost sounds like the selection the preview selection effects.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
