Closed polygons using sketch tool

Hello!

I only recently discovered the "SKETCH" tool to draw freehand polylines, however I'd like to be able to close these polylines, forming polygons at the end. So far I've been closing them with the "CHAMFER" tool, the fastest solution I found. For context, I am drawing a decal of an image, and it would really help me to know if there is a fast way to draw freehand polygons with minimum clicks.

Try polyline edit, when they are polyline, select all of them and use Property Pallet, use Closed, choose YES.

SKETCH command does not have that ability: you could try using PEDIT command's CLOSE function after creation, quicker that CHAMFER or FILLET, if you like the results. Then you can automate that with a LISP, and address all the other Sketch settings in there too like

That's the SKPOLY System Variable.

@Patchy

Das muß aber eine sehr dino-ige Version sein. Das von Dir Gezeigte kenne ich nur in den Versionen bis 2010. Bereits ab ACAD 2011 zeigt der Skizze-Befehl die obigen Optionen.  😉
