Hello community,
I have run into this issue quite a few times, I am wondering if it is avoidable or reversible.
When I open a new AutoCAD drawing, I am able to draw in 2D with no issues. As soon as I start to extrude my 2D parts into a 3D object, I notice my other 2D lines get very "choppy". I have provided two pictures below, comparing the "choppy" lines to the normal smooth" lines".
Understand this does not happen until I start to extrude everything into 3D.

Hello @dsershe1
In the command line type in "3DCONFIG" and turn it "ON" and that should solve the problem 🙂

I already tried all of those "solutions" on that page, none of them fix the issue.
Please post an image of the entire screen, showing the entire Workspace and the 3D extruded model (instead of lines) - or post the drawing file.

I am quite embarrassed to admit this, but after trying the regen command (which didn't seem to fix my issue), I realized why this is happening.
This occurs when I switch between "2D Wireframe" and other Visual Styles. When I switch to "Shaded with Edges", for example, the lines become jagged. Once I switch back to "2D Wireframe", the lines go back to being smooth.
I realize now the reason why I thought it was a 3D Model issue was because I always switch the visual style before I extrude. Sorry to waste everyone's time. I appreciate all the help and suggestions.
