Changing View of block and Visability Tab

I am wondering if anyone else is able to help me. I created a 3D model and when I attempt to turn it into a block it automatically defaults to top view, is there a way I haven't seen yet that allows me to change the view to SW Iso instead? it is causing me to have problems with inserting the visibility states on the block as it just shows the tab on top view and wont be seen when the assembly is complete.

You cannot change the image created by BLOCK command, sorry.

I have not tried it, but you might try using WBLOCK command to create it as a stand-alone DWG file, go into the DWG file, set your view, QSAVE the file, check that thumbnail preview is what you want it to be, then INSERT into a new container file before you do what you need to do with it.

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately after trying the steps it doesn't seem to work. even checking in the block editor doesn't seem to help.
