Change text font across multiple text

Hi,

I am trying to amend the text across a number of drawings which are part of our library drawings. Some of these drawings were created years ago in much earlier versions of AutoCAD.

We have set up all the standards text styles within the drawings and applied the correct font (i.e. Arial). It now appears that someone has overridden the actual text in the multiline text (i.e. text box on the Ribbon). I was hoping to be able to use Match Properties but it doesn't change the font style. (please see attached screenshot, of one area of one drawing)

So my question is does anyone know a way to easily correct these overridden text fonts?

Any help to speed things up would be grateful.

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

CLICK HERE  and there is a routine called stripmtext and the bottom of the page that can do what you want.

The MText editor has changed quite a bit since 2010 when that routine was copyrighted. There are a few of those LISPs out there, some more robust than others those who are looking to remove more formatting.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
