I turned off the allow docking option on my tool palette window and now I cant get tool palettes to open at all. Nothing happens when I try using them from the command line or by clicking on tool palette in the palette toolbar.

Hi,
i suggest to restart your AutoCAD and see if any changes. if you mean Toolbars then i suggest to type -TOOLBAR in command line.

Tip for having a workspace with 2 monitors. If I ever load my profile on a computer that I don't work on that only has 1 screen then all my second screen items are off the screen. I set a workspace for 2 screens and also a separate one for 1 screen with every thing pulled onto the main monitor. That way I can easily get my palettes or whatever back from being off screen onto 1 monitor if I need too. It also helps in your situation because you can switch to single screen workspace to find where your palette went too.
