@dalbandit,

  1. Click File menu > Open.
  2. In the Select File dialog box, in the Files of type box, select DXF (*.dxf).
  3. Find and select the DXF file you want to import, or enter the name of the DXF file at File Name.
  4. Click Open.

Thanks and Regards,

Rushabh Thakkar.

@dalbandit ZIP the file, come to the site, to share it.

If it is empty, then you received an empty DXF file, not much you can do about it sadly as the recipient. Reach our to the file sender and you both explore other options. You can also use web browsers all over the web to verify content too https://www.google.com/search?q=free+dxf+file+viewer

Hi,

Tell the creator that the file is corrupt,

(content if the first and last line, and if i am rifght - also the file encoding is unusual)

I guess the used program, which saves or exported the file, works wrongly.

Fixed file attached.

Sebastian
