Cannot hatch due to unenclosed boundary?

Hi,

I am attempting to hatch this road, the boundaries in red, as i have done successfully to the road above it. However, i keep getting this message that the area is not enclosed however i have joined the two points using the endpoint in snap, so it should be closed? Autocad has highlighted the areas where the gaps are, and even in places where i am not trying to hatch, i have attempted to close them but its not working?

If you zoom right in to those red circles, are they definitely connected?

Mine works fine on my end.

Zoom out until you can see the whole thing you want to hatch, then click inside the area and it'll hatch.
