Cannot draw lines with coordinates in auto cad 2018

So my Class mates and I have found that we cannot plot lines in auto cad 2018. We cannot find how to fix this and would be appreciative of any help that anyone can provide thank you

Note: the programs are all freshly installed and updated

Perhaps you want to enable the DYNAMIC INPUT mode?

i have done that the thing is i have the same problem in autocad 2020 as well
