no, these dimensions are isolated by themselves.  but any line is able to snap to every part of that dimension.  and the" ignore extension lines" is checked and it is still snapping to the extension lines.  autocad is disobeying me, lol.

Gotcha. It seems like the issue is more of the snaps and how they are interacting. From the digging I have tried to do it seems like the only options have been addressed. Not sure why it just started acting that way for you, but at least it doesn't seem like a system breaking problem.

As designed, yes.

In your case the statement is right, except one situation:

NOT with snap ENDpoint.

That's the only ignore option you have and it works, also on your side.

It is snapping with other snap types or to other parts af your dimension

and this is how it works, there is no further ignore option in AutoCAD.

i figured out a solution but i don't like it cause i have to do this with every file.  open >ampowersnap >filter options:  uncheck dimensions. hit apply and close setting.  go back in the settings and re-check dimensions and hit apply.  obviously this is a bug and autodesk seems always distant when it comes to reporting bugs.
