can't plot

This is totally new to me.

I must have pushed the wrong button.

Now, when I try to Plot, any of the 3 drawings I have open, I get "unknown command 'plot'".

Using any of the buttons with the Plotter Icon yields the same message.

Using any button with the "Plottter" icon also doesn't work.

Clicking the File tab and drop down to Plot is where I first received the "unknown command."

What's interesting is that the Drawing 1 that comes up when I startup AutoCAD does have a working "Plot" command.

Any ideas about how to be able to plot again ?

You have saved the day.

I still don't know what went wrong, but, it's good to be able to plot again.

Thanks.

Sounds like somewhere along the line someone redefined the "plot" command and this redefinition is not working. The period prefix makes it use the built in command.

I'll have to check and see how it was refined.

Interesting that "plot" works on Drawing 1, but, not the others opened this morning.

Thanks.
