Can't extrude to a solid, creates surface

I use Extrude on the yellow group, select Solid as output but a surface is created

The 2 splines have elevation 0

HI,

it's work fine here . but you may need to check from Extrude command your MOde type . see attached CAD file . also you can use PRESSPULL command and select inner space .
