Can't Double Click To Edit Text in Table

I recently upgraded from AutoCad LT 2019 to 2020. I can no longer simply double click on a cell within a table to edit the text.

I have checked set DBLCLKEDIT =1,  as well as enabling Noun/Verb Selection.

Is there a setting that I have overlooked?

Thanks,

I had the same issue.  I ended up clicking a bunch of times until it popped up.  I think it's a computer speed thing...not ideal, but it ended up working.

I had this issue because I had multiple selections or whatever turned on.  I hit Ctrl W and turned it off for a moment and it allowed me to do it

Check this step try the following in order to ensure double-click editing is enabled:

  • Enter DBLCLKEDIT on the command line and change the value to 1.

  • Enter PICKFIRST on the command line and change the value to 1.

  • Enter OPTIONS > User Preferences tab > Priority for Coordinate Data Entry > Make sure "Keyboard entry except script" is selected.

  • In the properties or text style, make sure the width factor is greater than 0.
