Can't create base views from model space

Can't create base views from model space. Model pulled out of Navitworks and converted into AutoCAD. AutoCAD does not see the model as a solid object in the base views, in the model everything is clearly visible in 3D. Help please, there is no possibility to request the originals of the models. File attached

Не могу создать базовые виды из пространства модели. Модель выдернута с Navitworks и конвертирована в Автокад. Все модели хорошо видны в 3D. Помогите пожалуйста, запросить оригиналы моделей нет возможности. Файл прикреплен

Hi,

Your objects are of type "Polyface Mesh" .. these objects can't be used for base views.

According to the help content (>>>click<<<)  only solids and surfaces are supported. So you either work with the "older" method, using viewports or you need to convert your objects to 3D-Solids or Surfaces.

Thank you so much Alfred! Please tell me if I can cut this model or make a section in the model mode. All items are connected and removed all the place.

Not from Polyface Meshes.

You might try the steps shown in that video, hopefully they work for your geometry as well.
Then you have solids and can use the base view functionality.

Alfred you helped me a lot! Thank you. With the help of the "convert to surface" command everything worked out.
