Can't change the size and extension on BREAKLINE

When i use the breakline command, it asks me the type whether normal, pipe and square. When i choose normal, changing the size by typing S is invalid point. I even tried the extension but it's also invalid. 

What's wrong?

Would you type ABOUT and tell us what software you are having?

BTW you can't type S for scale when it wants to specify a point from you.

The options on the left screenshot differ from options that offer the original built-in express tool commands (even in C3D). 

It was probably redefined by some extension. Do you have some?

That's not what I see in my Civil 3D 2022. Try changing to Civil 3D Workspace.
