Can't catch objects together in presspull command

Hi,

I tried to practice with presspull command.

I was able to select two boundaries of a object first time and use the command easily but then i tried to do it again but autocad is not allowing me to select both of them together no matter where i hover my crosshair.

P.S.- I tried to change view to front but that also did not work.

its not some drawing, its just practice but in picture you can see a similar thing on which i was able to presspull but the next second i again created it and was not able to do it .
See my crosshair position, that's the object and in front of it is the object i am trying to make

Without the drawing i cannot verify what your exact problem.

Given that if your curser is in a bounded area (inside a polyline area) it will do as you need (if I understand your problem). If you select the geometry it will try to do it to the geometry you are tying to select. You should selected within the bounded area not the geometry its self. 

 

If there is a problem with your geometry and it is not a bounded area the only thing you use press pull with is the geometry. make sure your area is bounded.

My area is closed and i am trying to catch inside the area but not working

try to do it and if it does share me a photo 

And also tell me that does changing from 2-D wireframe to shaded with edges or other appearance affect this

I only see two items in this drawing and they seem to have worked for you.

uploaded file doesn't have that piece, i deleted it out of frustration😅

but i think my object was not a single object.

Are you making objects in clips above after giving join command

I think i found your issue. press pull only works in the z direction (for bounded area) of the UCS. In your screen shot your Z was not in the right direction. I looks like you were trying to press pull in the Y direction. Check your UCS next time you have the issue.

Please check this drawing, i am trying to press pull in z direction now. and also my figure is bound.

I tried it after giving join command also.

 NOTHING WORKED FOR ME.

Which version are you using?

your new drawing works fine for me as well...

Try changing your GFXDX12 system variable to 0 then restart and see if it makes a difference.

If you delete everything else in the drawing does the command work?
