Can i download Student autocad

I am curious if I can legally download the student autocad. I am not currently a student anymore but I don't intend to use it for profit. I just want to learn how to use the software to get familiar with it before starting a career. Also there are student versions for sale out there and I am curious of the legality and legitimacy of it.

no the student licenses are for active students & Teachers

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community! 

 I suggest trying a Trial version of AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT.

If you are not currently a student enrolled in an approved educational institution, then legally you are not entitled to that kind of license. In addition, if anyone is trying to sell such a license on the web, that is not a legal license and you should avoid it.

If a Trial proves to be the route you want to follow, please be aware that you can also subscribe on as short a term as a monthly subscription if that helps you get through your learning process.
