Can I delete solid or construction lines after I've created my extruded product?

So, I created my layout in 3d, and used lines to locate everything. I did some extruding and some presspull...but now I want to get rid of the lines so that it looks like one object rather than a collection of blocks or segments. Is this possible? If so, how? Thanks!

Have you explored the various visualization styles available in your 3D workspace?

Also, if you have solids with the edges of the parts showing can you try to use the Union command to make them a single solid?

Sometimes press-pull leaves behind junk lines. I've not found a way to eliminate these. See attached screen shot

I have never seen "junk lines".

What are you referring to as "junk"?

The boundaries between faces?

The channel section in my screen shot was lengthened using press-pull.

The junk lines are the curved lines in the middle of the extrusion.

Thank you.  I have taken a look at the styling options but I have not tried the second.  I will take a look at this and see what I can do with it. 

Am I asking the right question, or the question the correct way?  Does what I'm asking make sense?

Thanks for your replies.  Yes, I understand.  I wonder if that is what I have going on.  What I did though, was extrude a circle and located features around the circle with lines for reference.  The lines were drawn before the extrusion...and when it extruded or presspulled, that broke the shape up into pieces defined by the reference lines.  Does this make sense?  When I drew a similar shape and deleted the lines before extruding or presspull, the shapes came out without the surface lines.  So, rather than going back and drawing some of this again, I was hoping to delete or undo some kind of feature to take these surface lines, which are not an my actual part. 

Hmmm...is this a lesson in drawing order and technique or can these lines be removed?

But now, I'm back to my original question.  I'm getting 2d views for detailing that shows broken or dashed outside lines, instead of solid outside lines, showing the visible edges of the shapes. 

The previous posts have been extremely helpful so far.  Are there any suggestions for this new condition?

Is it possible to attach a drawing so I can see what you are seeing? Are you creating these views in layouts or are you using ViewBase?
