Can command wipeout work at circle polyline ?

hi everyone,

I just want to ask something about wipeout.

can this command work with circle polyline ? or only work at line segment ?

wipeout can only works with line segments, and not arc segments. thanks

Wipeout doesn't work with circle, it should be pline. If you want to make circular wipeout my suggestion would be to use POLYGON and enter the no. of sides as 50 (its just a random number which I choose you could reduce or increase to create smoother circle) which would result in circle, but made of polyline.

Hi,

 

wipeouts for curved parts create a mess of object snap points, that's why I avoid that.

My way would be to work with hatches (pattern = SOLID, on a layer with color 254.254.254) ... that gives you the option to white-fill curved objects and to avoid masses of object snap points.
