Calcomp drawing board VI calibration with AutoCAD 2019

Is there any guide to assist in the setup of a digitizer board with AutoCAD? I have read all the post and help guides here but still not helping. I tried downloading the .dwg that is available to configure but keep getting an error. The board works just fine, the issue I'm having is that when I move the puck on the board it moves like a mouse on the screen. Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

You have to configure "Tablet mode" in the control panel of the "Calcomp Drawing Board" software/driver.

Will I still need the .dwg for AutoCAD 2019? Thank you for your quick response.

I punished myself enough using the Calcomp for digitizing door and window sill and jamb details, they looked nasty until I can trace any image by xref in photos ☺ ☻ ☺

Those were the days.

Calibration is a little off. X axis is fine. Y axis is off by about 3in from top and bottom workable space. I have gone through tabletworks, the program to help adjust and calibrate and started where each corner should be. But nothing changes.

Does "tabletworks" offer support for their product and how it interfaces with AutoCAD?

You can print the tablet.dwg and use it as tablet menu on your tablet.

That the tablet works properly in AutoCAD you should, put the AutoCAD application in full screen mode when you configure it and use the "Wintab" driver. And after work only in full screen mode.

Also that the tablet works correct and precise you have to use /set the correct settings in the "tablet driver application".

It is a long time ago I used a tablet (Calcomp and Wacom) and yes for special use cases it is very helpful.

Update:

Calcomp tech support called me back but were unable to give me good direction. They mentioned a AutoCAD driver that they sell for 95 for 3 year subscription.  I didn't know if it is a requirement for what I am trying to accomplish. Going through the guide provided I cannot find the 'CFG' command on AutoCAD 2019. If I type CONFIG it just takes me to the control panel. I have printed the .dwg configuring drawing but can't finish the final steps to hopefully get this board functional.

If you have activated the WINTAB driver in AutoCAD, then there is the command TABLET available with the option CFG to configure your tablet.

So the driver they sell is necessary in order to calibrate board. With that the CFG will appear and allow the operation?

Ask "Calcomp support" but it looks to be the case, there is nothing in AutoCAD to activate a tablet in tablet mode, never has been.
