Is there a site where you can download a cad map of lets say a town/city in ma?

nothing to crazy. Stick form for streets, route numbers and street names.

BTW: when using 2014 or newer you have found the online maps in AutoCAD? >>>click<<<

Check with your local or state goverment most of them have GIS Maps that you can get in CAD (DXF) format if you ask nice.
