CAD Dimension - Text location

The dimension in white is how this naturally comes in. I would like the green one where the text value is on the other side with out exploding the dimension. If I use linear dimension to show it on the right, it put the text above which is what I do not want.

Hover on the grip on the dimension text and a menu will appear. If you select the Move with Leader option you can move the text to the other side

That is what I was looking for, but now look whats happening to the dim line. By the way, this is LT 15 shouldn't make a difference though

Select the dimension and then on the properties palette and try setting the Dim Line Inside to ON

Investigate one or the other or BOTH of the following dimension variables:
DIMJUST
DIMTAD

Please note these settings will affect horizontal dimensions where
you want to position the vertical ones...

Neither dimjust or dimtab had the corrected the extension line issue now
