Hi guys.
I'm having some font issues.
I'm using AutoCAD 2012 and when I write using the broadway font everything seems ok on the screen, but once I print it, it shows like in the image attached to this post. That is, all that shows is the font's contour/border. Does anyone know if there's something I need to configure before printing?
Thanks!

Hi,
when you create a new drawing, place one text object with a style using that font, do you have the same issue when plotting?
When you plot to PDF instead of your printer ... same outlines/missing fill?

Hi @Anonymous,
I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!
Is this font the one that is included with Windows?
Is the problem only happening in one drawing file or all of them?
Can you attach a sample file for me to look at? Are you printing to a hardware device or to a PDF driver when this happens.

Hi @Anonymous,
I have played with this issue in AutoCAD 2018 and so far, regardless of any of the settings suggested in this thread, I have not been able to duplicate the problem. IF you are still having this issue, please eTransmit a sample file (including the font and plot style) so I can take a closer look.
Hi everybody! Thanks for replying!
I solved the issue (something like that....)
I actually had to uninstall AutoCAD and then install again.
It didn't work, the issue was still happening.
So I formated the PC's HD and then installed AutoCAD again. This time it worked.
I ain't got a clue why this happened too. It seems like some configuration had changed all of a sudden. Since I'm the only one to use AutoCAD at my office, I highly doubt someone else changed the plot configuration or user preferences or whatever.
Anyway, thanks a lot for the replies! And yes, I am new at the forum. Hope I had respected all of the rules.
Thanks again!!
