Hello all,

Do you know how can I delete these gray boundaries?  when I create my plans there are always these boundaries (3mm) and when I print a pdf , it is cutted because of that.

Thank you in advance.

That dotted line is the print margin of the printer you have in place: you need a larger page size.

AutoCAD will show you in paper space (layout tabs) where your current printable area is, as determined by your printer settings. Open the Options window ( Options Command ) and go to the Display tab. In the bottom right area, Layout Elements, check the Display Printable Area box. AutoCAD will display a dashed line in paper space when you set up a printer. Inside the box is where you can show your drawing. If your printer settings change, the box will automatically adjust to fit.make sure that objects that are in Paper space are within these margins . if they are NOT , they will not plot .

Hi,

>> these boundaries (3mm) and when I print a pdf , it is cutted because of that.

As already mentioned it's a setting determined from the printer driver.

However for a PDF you should:

  • use an AutoCAD PDF driver like "AutoCAD PDF (General Documentation).pc3"
  • use a "...full bleed..." paper format

So the printable border has the same size as the paper size

Hello all,

Thank you for your time but it seems that I am doing something wrong.  The size of my titleblock is 594x1260mm.

1. How can I add another size of paper (If I choose PDF creator, I am able to create a new paper size but with  the DWG to PDF  I cannot find this option) - Image 1 . So what dimensions I need to give to  my paper in my case ?

 2. Is there any way to snap the titleblock with the edge of the paper ?

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

>> How can I add another size of paper (If I choose PDF creator ...

Why using PDF-Creator? The build in driver in AutoCAD creates the more efficient PDF-files.

If you want to stay with PDF-Creator you'll need to add new paper sizes inside the driver.

>> Is there any way to snap the titleblock with the edge of the paper ?

Snapping is not possible, but you can use command _OPTIONS ==> tab "Plot and Publish" and activate "Edge of paper"

AND for the title block you can then set the insertion point to 0,0,0
