Blueprints not printing to scale

I’m looking for some help.  I am drawing a set of plans that are quarter inch scale. Everything dimensions out fine while in AutoCAD but when I send them to the the printer who does my printing, they are printed with an erratic scale… Meaning certain sections of the prints are the correct scale and other  portions on that same page do not scale correctly. Some are off 9 inches off  some are off 6 inches off.

This is the only set of plans that I have a problem with.  Any suggestions?

What are you sending the print-shop exactly?
Certain sections not to scale means what? certain whole pages? Or certain elements on the same page?

And how would we know way over here that you sent them the correctly scaled items? Show us, share what you send the print-shop here for review, and if you can, share your source DWG file(s) too.

What are you sending to your printing who does your (my) printing? Are you sending dwg files?

I suggest you print to true, real life-size PDF's, then send those PDF's to the printer who does your printing. If your monitor displays the resulting PDF's with the correct sheet-size, for example W36"XH24", then he can print those PDF's to Arch-D without any errors, unless, of course, your PDF's have scaling issues and if that's the case it's not the fault of your printer who does your printing.
