Anyone know if there is a way to remove this blue outline around the program?  It doesn't matter if its in windowed or full screen mode.

You have an Windows (themes?) or Windows add-on feature (PowerToys? or something similar) turned on: nothing in AutoCAD does that @hildabrittain

Ask your I.T. person for help with that.

Does this blue line outline only occur with the AutoCAD program or also with other programs like MS Word?

If you click/drag the header so that you can stretch the window both up and to the right

and then click on full screen the blue line should be gone...works on mine anyway

my screen shot won't capture the cursor...it should look like a two headed arrow for stretching the window...

Ive seen blue lines before around AutoCAD, but these look significantly larger.

What antivirus do you have?

I don't have a Windows theme. I have PowerToys, but even when closed it's still there.

If I make AutoCAD full screen, then it goes away, but I don't ever use it in full screen mode.

I don't have an antivirus other than whatever Windows 11 has on it out of the box.

Looks like you may not be familiar enough with it, I recommend removing it, or do a deep dive to turn off everything you don't want.

You have this active (I do not)

The go through all of these to turn off

I turned everything off in PowerToys, still doesn't make the blue line go away.

Looks like none of us here is experiencing your problem so very hard to troubleshoot.

What if you installed 2026 which can be installed side by side with 2025. Does the same problem occur with 2026 window?

I did try this, 2025 version doesn't have this blue outline but the 2026 version does.  Is a bit weird i had a similar issues a few years ago but i don't recall what i did to remove it. At the moment i don't have any apps in the pc (new pc) beside a label program that should not be interfering with anything in the pc, i have this program in other computers with AutoCAD.

I did discover on accident that if you select the middle section on top next to (Autodesk AutoCAD LT 2026) you are able to drag the screen around, but if you hold and try to drag the screen using either top left or right corner it wont let you drag it around.

@Isaelalonzo The blue outline is not removable in the 2026s, but for me it's not as pronounced as the original post, it's much thinner. The outline is gray in 2025 and older, same "thickness". Win11Pro.

Here are the ways to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help if this is too distracting for you, not sure you'll find a fix though, so be ready:
https://www.autodesk.com/support/account/manage/use/support#:~:text=com/plans.-,Contact%20support,-S...

No issues with LT2026 as you noted separately either if I followed along correctly.

Thanks ill check it out, Is not distracting i was just having issues at first. When it was first install i didn't have the blue outline and i was able to move the screen freely. Suddenly the screen froze the blue outline appear and i was not able to move the screen and i was force to only use Win + Shift + arrows (up, down, left and right) to move the screen around. Now I'm able to move it around freely again which i weird because i didn't move anything or mess with any settings.  I will keep an eye out and see if it happen again i will post a video in the future, incase other have the same issue. Thanks for the help.
