whenever I'm inserting any furniture it doesn't come in same scale, 2nd
drawing is furniture drawing, but even if I'm taking any furniture from
existing drawing through block insertion, scale is wrong all the time

Experiencing the exact same problem and currently in discussion with AutoCAD on how to fix it as it seems this post failed to answer the question to the problem.

The "insunits" should not need to be adjusted for every drawing that is used. There needs to be a solution to fix the overall issue of problem in the AutoCAD 2020 Software.

As per this thread discussed previously, this issue has not been resolved by Autodesk and looks like a bug with

the software.

If not can someone please tell me of a solution??

Hi,

>> bothe dwg is in same scale

If you start -DWGUNITS for both drawings you see that one dwg is set to Meter(6), the other dwg is set to Inches(1).

And just looked to one sample in the "23_4_2019.1.dwg".

Using -DWGUNITS reports the dwg-file is set to Inches(6).

But at least one block "CHAR" is set to block-units "Millimeter"

So not all is clean in your drawings, but if you tell us which drawing and which block you are referring to when you say "inserting a block into the same dwg has scale issues", then we can look into that details.

Its a bug with the software and needs to be fixed by Autodesk.

Settings should not need to be changed at all for individual drawings.

It is a Bug in the software if we have both files to check the settings,

if autocad act like the settings are, it isn't a bug.

(Or do you mean the whole aec-setting handling in plain autpcad is a bug? Yes!, but skipping after all the decades?

Hi,

>> Its a bug with the software

You have not made any detail description so we can follow the workflow which block from which drawing is inserted into which drawing/space (modelspace/paperspace) ... to see if that also happens on our side and if the behavior is incorrect or correct based on the many different unit-settings you have.

>> Settings should not need to be changed

Well, if they are wrong, then I would assume it is necessary to correct them.

As long as we can't see the "defect" I can't agree to "bug" or "as designed".
