Blind Objects Showing Through When Zoomed Out

Hello all,

I am having an issue with AutoCAD showing what should be blind edges of 3D objects when I am slightly zoomed out of my drawing. As you can see in the staircase drawing below, the edges of the steps are showing through the stringer when I am zoomed out:

However, when I zoom in further to my drawing, the lines disappear

My final drawings within the viewport have to be somewhat zoomed out, so all of my drawings give the impression that the steps are extruding outside of the stair stringers:

I have changed around my visual styles, ensured that the steps are not physically impeding on the stringer at all, and even sliced the steps back another millimeter or so and nothing seems to be working.

Any tips on how to remedy this?

Hi,

it could depend on the distance between camera and object in relation to the distance between these 2 objects.
If the camera is more away then the small distance between the parts of your stair could be "close to equal" and so they get both visualized.

If you upload your file we can look into it on our workstations.
