Hi everyone,
I have issue with my AutoCad 2016 (x64). Before the problem was that "Hardware Acceleration" was not active.
I've updated my graphic driver (nvidia geforce gtx-850M) then I can turn on the "Harware Acceleration". But with activation this function the background bacame darker then usuall and I can't see what is going on my screen.
It works perfect without "Hardware Acceleration", but with this activated function it is not possible to work.
You can see on the scrennshoots how it is and also see Log information
Do you know how can I fix it???

The problem could be that I don't see your graphics driver as certified recommended hardware by autodesk for 2016:
Area Object Link | Attribute Modifier | Dwg Setup | Feet-Inch Calculator
Layer Apps | List on Steroids | VP Zoom Scales | Exchange App Store
But the question still is did the problem appear after you upgraded the graphics driver which is after you've used AutoCAD for 10 months?
Something obviously triggered the change. This is what we're trying to help you nail down.

I am sorry, may be I should tell full story.
I started used AutoCad 2016 since release date. It worked perfect with my graphic card, "Harware Acceleration" was always activated. After new year I stop used for 1 month. When tried to open the program, Autocad wrote "Fatal error...." I decided to reinstall program. After this it was the same. Then I found solution to start: I add " /no hardware" in properties of shortcut. The program have worked, but without "Harware Acceleration". After I found that I need a new driver for my card. I've updated it and start the program again (without " /no hardware"). It works, but the problem is still here.
In AutoCad 2014, 2015 it works, and it is also worked in 2016. Maybe something happened after I upgraded my Windows 8.1?
So the problem has always been that you cannot turn on hardware accelleration. This is because your graphics card no matter what latest drivers you've installed is not recommended for AutoCAD. So you can only run AutoCAD with hardware accelleration turned off. Check the list of supported graphics drivers:
Area Object Link | Attribute Modifier | Dwg Setup | Feet-Inch Calculator
Layer Apps | List on Steroids | VP Zoom Scales | Exchange App Store
So what Windows OS version was AutoCAD running on when you had hardware acceleration on & properly running?
You mentioned of the crash & reinstall. Did that happen after you upgraded to Windows 8.1?

glad you found a solution...cheers!!!
