binding xref files

Wondering if there was a lisp available that binds only loaded xref's,  detaches unloaded xrefs and then moves all the entities on resulting layers with names containing "* 0$0 *" to a layer called "background".

actually, just binding only the loaded xref's and detaching the unloaded xref's would be wonderful.  I think I can manage changing the entities to a "background" layer.

thanks

Be careful with BINDTYPE in your first sentence.

You may have more success posting in the Customization section.

you can try with free tool BtahcInEditor or BatchInDatabase to do the binding operation, the bind command removes unloaded xrefs, including the child unloaded xrefs and binds the loadeded xref.

you can choose bind method either "Bind/Insert"

I have added few commands to the batch in the below image.

1. Binds the loaded xrefs and removes unloaded xrefs

2. let you know the bind operation is succesfull or not, if bind is sucesfull then it will report "No Xref Found" otherwise list all the xrefs and its status

3. Purge the drawing

BatchInDatabase process drawings without opening them and BatchInEditor opens drawing and process it
