BAK Files Not Saving to Specified Folder

Bought a new computer earlier this year and upgraded to AutoCAD 2025. I like to keep my bak files in a separate folder than the original dwg file. I used the MOVEBAK command to select the folder I want to keep them, like I have done with previous versions of CAD. It worked for a while but now all the bak files are saving to the folder with the dwg files. When I use MOVEBAK, it still has the folder I selected to save them to but it does not save to that folder. I can retype the file path in and it will work for a minute but it always goes back to saving the bak files with the dwg file.

Very easy fix.

Type OP or CONFIG.

Pick onto Automatic Save File Location. Make a folder.

I always use AUTODESKs folder because it is easy to find.

Be sure to set your Auto Save Time as well.

Hope this helps!!

Ran the update and it appears to be working so far. I'll respond if anything changes. Thanks for the help.
