Please say in detail what you mean with first row, do you mean the first row in the box? -> The row that has in the picture the blue background?

And everytime a good information for helpers:

Please start your AutoCAD in safemode and test it again. How to start in safemode:

i use autocad 2017

i meant The row that has in the picture the blue background

like i used to type EX then hit enter to extend

or even  type PL then enter to start polyline

i dont remember to change any sitting ( just happened over night)

Nohting appears by typing in
