AutoCAD Viewport Scaling Issues

 Hi everyone,

I am having some issues with the viewport in CAD. The house plan that I'm currently working on is 32'x48', however when I try to scale it in the viewport, the scale seems off. A 1:4 scale works beautifully on 11" x 8.5" full bleed paper which makes no sense.

Help PLEASE!

Looks like you only have metric scales in this imperial dwg. The ScalelistEdit command shows:

Select Reset button & then choose Imperial scales:

Now you'll see a list of Foot Inch scales:

Second problem is your Page Setup for Layout 1 is using again a metric scale unit:

This should be 1 units

Now do a Zoom Extents and you'll see your Vport is huge compared to the black little square which is your Letter paper size:

Change Paper Size to Arch E, adjust the Vport to match this size & a scale of 1/2"=1' will now fit in the vport
