AutoCAD - Sheet Set Manager missing sheets when printing.

I think there is a bug in the Sheet Set when publishing. I have a sheet set that has 28 drawings in it and when I right click on the parent name and select publish to PDF, AutoCAD will run the process and when I go to look at my file it is randomly missing files from the sheet set. I have Included two files for your review.
The file called Introduction to CAD II Packet-3 (ran at 7:56 am) is missing the following files: PL-20, PL-31,

The File called Introduction to CAD II Packet-5 (ran at 8:00 am)is missing the following files: PL-00, PL-42

I have also attached what the sheet set manager shows inside of autocad.

Have you tried attempting to print using the option "Publish using Page Setup Override"? Just curious if printing your PDFs via this method will produce a better result (i.e. printing all of your sheets).

Screenshot of your PUBLISH command pop-up just before you hit OK would be helpful to share.

A screenshot of your ABOUT command might help too.

Looks like you are using some coursework/tutorial: you might wish to reach out to the author too: you seem to have lost sheet numbering in your PDF too.

I did print using the Plotter setup which is to a pdf as well and it will print all of the sheets no problem.  Its only when I choose to print to a pdf in the publish menu that it randomly looses sheets.

I have included the other screenshots.  As far as the author I am the author of the file.  In Adobe if you look at the sheets and views side it has the sheet names on it, Its just the page thumbnails that are missing the Names.

Not "publish options" screenshot, that means nothing here for this issue, but the primary PUBLISH command window with your sheets in it showing all of your selections ready-t-go-just-before-you-lick-OK

Did you reach out to your coursework instructor yet?

No, this one, but populated with all of your sheets and showing all the choices in that pop-up

You are also not using plain AutoCAD, the topic of this forum. What are you using?

I am using AutoCAD 2023.  This is all that populates in that menu because each sheet in the sheet set is on its own separate file.

If you right click on the Title of the sheet set it gives you the option to print to pdf.  Everything I have described happens when I do that.

You can control if an individual sheet 'Include for Publish' or not. Please check these sheets and ensure they are included in the publish set.

A modelspace and a Slide?

Or you are not getting to the PUBLISH pop-up for your problem publish-set correctly

So that is all correct.  What happens is when I publish, I get random files not included in the final file.  And the files that are and are not included change every time I publish it.

This is not PDF: are you publishing to DWF then creating a PDF?

If not, that pulldown list has 5-total PDF options, did you try all of them as a text to see if the problem remains?

Remember to turn OFF background publishing first and foremost before you do anything else https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to...

Try this method for plotting your sheets thru your sheet set manager.

1) Open a blank drawing and save it as a template (*.dwt) drawing. Name it whatever you want.

2) Xref in your titleblock into one of the layout tabs and create a new page setup. You can use the same settings you normally use, however, be sure to set the plot area to "Layout"...this is important. Save and close the drawing.

3) Go to your sheet set properties and go to "Page setup overrides file". Select the ellipsis and navigate to the *.dwt drawing.

4) In your sheet set pull down, go to Publish > Publish using Page Setup Override > "page setup name will be shown here". As soon as you select the page setup name, the sheets will start printing. If you selected a PDF driver as your plotter, then a new dialog box will open so you can save your drawing.

Check to see if all your sheets print.

Did this isuse get resolved? I am on AutoCAD 2022 and have a similar issue. A sheet in my sheet set will not plot/publish (A-205). I removed the layout and added it back - then the next layout down the list does not publish. There's also a duplicate A-207. See attached screenshots.

I'm having similar issues.

If I double click a specific sheet, the sheet set takes me there. If I publish it, it publishes the wrong one.

Looking at the sheet properties, it's referencing the correct layout but still plotting the wrong one. If I publish all, I get duplicates.

@randyspear6624 Does turning off background publishing in OPTIONS command's PLOT tab solve the issues you are facing?

No, my default is background plotting off to ensure my fields regenerate with the latest. I did try both ways though.

Additionally publishing from the drawing works, publishing from SSM does not.

I also tried using PDF, and Plotter named page setup in the Publish to: drop down... same result.

I'm on update 2.1
