AutoCAD - Placing palettes on left side of second/dual monitor

I've been having trouble getting my floating properties palette to position at the left edge of my second monitor in a dual monitor setup. My screens are the same resolution, but the second screen is in portrait mode.

For whatever reason, it seems to want to float about 5 pixels away from the edge of the screen.

This is somewhat related to an older Revit discussion: Revit Docking Problem.

Through trial and error, I found that de-maximizing my AutoCAD window released the floating palette to move freely so I could position it at the edge of the screen. After I positioned it, I could then maximize the drafting window on my first monitor without changing the palette position.

P.S. Don't click on the bar on the left side (or right) of your palette or it will undo the fix.
