You could try resetting LT

If that still doesn't work, create another local admin windows account, sign in as that account and then try running LT

i can't get into cad it opens a to a drawing 1 but nothing works it's faded out.  You can't click on a icon you can't close it. it's basically frozen.  How do you create a new a new window admin account?  I hope this isn't an on going thing with this computer updating it will drive me crazy. lol

Resetting AutoCAD LT does not require you to open it. Did you try that yet as I posted the link in my first reply?

Heres info you can find online on how to create another Windows user account

I would have to buy 2025 in order to use it. Correct?

You should be on subscription already with LT 2022 so you have the rights to install the current version and up to three versions back.

NO I HAVE A STAND ALONE LICENSE . I DID HAVE A MAINTENANCE PROGRAM FOR YEARS WELL UNTIL 2022 THEN I WAS TOLD IT WOULD NOT BE AVAILALE AFTER THAT. I PAID EVERY YEAR THEN THEY COME UP WITH SUBSCRIPTION/LEASING LICENSES AND PUT A STOP TO THAT.

You can always download and install the 2025 trial and see if it works.

If you are sure a recent Windows update is the culprit, you can try uninstall the update and see if it works. It happens occasionally that a Windows update breaks a software. Usually Autodesk soon will release a hotfix or update if the version is still supported.

Since your OP stated:

The computer updated and when it came back up I tried to open Cad and this is what i get…”
Read @edwin.prakoso solution again and try it.

Why does this happen every week to me? New updates, new drivers, a week long trouble shoot, for a nother error to arise the next week from another update. Imagine if I could simply use AutoCAD 2005 AS IS, without connecting to some framework, or online updates that INEVITABLEY BREAK THE PROGRAM NEEDED TO DO MY JOB.  It doesn't matter if you send out a hotfix for your broken program when it breaks weekly. I still cant do my job even though you make a (very) temporary "solution". Autodesk is like a cancer for windows and you pay for radiation poisoning yearly. PROVIDE A ONCE BOUGHT PROGRAM THAT MAKES LINES AND PRINTS. THAT'S ALL. ID have a better time if this industry migrated to  microsoft PAINT.
