AutoCAD irregular dashed line error when printed

Hi everyone

I have a problem with AutoCAD when printing.
I just installed a plotter and also the driver HPGL2.
After this now in AutoCAD or wherever you print (any printer) the lines and text in the direction of printing are wrong (attach image).
I already check the firmware and printhead and i found that all is well and properly calibrated.

Data&colon

RAM 4GB

RAM Graphics 1.5 GB Inter HD Graphics v10.18.10.3412

Plotter HP Designjet T770 IN HPGL2, v61.123.361.41

I hope I can recommend something.
Thank You

Hi,

does that only happen when you plot from AutoCAD? Try to print from AutoCAD to PDF and then the PDF to the plotter, or something from XLS to the plotter, are the displaycements the same or not? If yes, you have to justify the print head.

Your statements are confusing: you get this effect with "any printer" now?

If limited to this plotter only... This used to happen with older HP plotters like the ZD6100, the fix was to set to Max. the Application Resolution option in the Windows driver dialog's Advanced tab, under Document Options > Printer Features.

Does yours have the same option?

Another way to check whether it's coming from the printer head alignment:  Plot a portion of the drawing in both portrait and landscape orientations, and see whether the jogs occur in the same elements of the drawing, or in elements running in the same direction on the paper as it's fed through the plotter.

Hi,

Thanks for the replay

I've been doing the recommendations and now prints look like attachments. Like double lines in drawing and text.

What could be done?
Thanks for all your help

That indicates that it must be a problem with the Printer, not with AutoCAD or the other programs you can print from.  Another test would be, if you have any other printers, whether it does the same on any of them.  Or, try printing to a .PDF and look at how it appears there [on-screen, not on paper].

Hi everyone,

If it appears to be the plotter.
What I find strange is that everything is calibrated. The problem happens with any file, but if the test print goes off correctly.

In other printers all goes well.
From the plotter in landscape or portrait to preview everything looks fine but when printing.

I think the problem might be the printheads.

Thanks for your support.
