AutoCAD - Help with cleaning up PDF import lines from skp too close/organic to separate

I'm doing a pavilion for my architecture class, made a model in sketchup with some hand-drawn arcs, trying to make it proper outlines for the laser cutter. exported the parts from sketchup to pdf, imported said pdf to autocad, got unwanted adjacent lines (presumably from the 3d nature of the components) with hundreds of segments that i want to purge. i've got about 40 "rectangles" to clean up. everything is on the same layer. example images & dwg are included. any additional context needed will be provided, just ask 🤙Screenshot 2022-10-12 003615.jpgScreenshot 2022-10-12 003649.jpgScreenshot 2022-10-12 005030.jpg

Maybe not all that helpful but it seems to me that it would take a lot less work to redraw those in AutoCAD than it would take to try to smooth out those arcs from the PDF import.

Your PDF source file is low-res for AutoCAD: no fix.

AS noted by others, why are you not creating the content in AutoCAD?
Or pay for/subscribe to SketchupPro and export DXF/DWG files if that is a must-use software option for your creative needs https://help.sketchup.com/en/sketchup/importing-and-exporting-cad-files

Now you know 😉

im with @rwrightWMDSY on this one... just scrap the garbage and go fresh with new geometry. You will spend way more time cleaning than it would take to recreate it.

I used array to get half way there in a matter of minutes. granted it was done sloppily (so dont do it exactly as i did) but its going to save you time to just recreate it.

With the simplicity of the drawing and the nature of what is being drawn it shouldn't be such a crude sketch.

There are some tricks if you wish to go down the road of clean up.

First select everything and use OVERKILL. This will help clean everything up a little and allow the use of some other things.

Next select your arc and use the JOIN command. this will join the pieces so that they can be selected together.

After that you can select large chunks together.
