AutoCAD freezes

I imported a STEP-file from a 3-way valve into AutoCAD. When I try to use the move command and try to pick a point on the valve with my cursor, AutoCAD keeps rendering for a long time and even freezes.

Hi,

You may try to turn OFF hardware acceleration from  GRAPHICSCONFIG command .

Open dwg using RECOVER command and then run AUDIT
