AutoCAD - Error 114066 when trying to create a loft

I'm trying to make a simplified loft view of an imported 3D model. However I'm getting an error on the last three models (the first two were set up in the same way and result in no errors).

I already tried to adjust the 'loftnormals', but this doesn't seem to work. Anyone any idea?

Not sure why its failing, but if you add guides it seems to work. Just run a line from the outer corner  of the outer edges and the select them as guides in the lofting command.

This seemed to do the trick, although I had to figure out how to properly use guides first; select both faces, rightclick --> enter (ignore the error), right click guides and select both guides.
