When the scale factor for a dim is less than 1, during the editing of the text, the text is shifted from the original position.

The smaller the scale it is the more text shifting you have.

I attached a file with a dim + scale = 0.01

Re: Text moves when I edit it...
"I had this problem when I would use text that had been part of a multileader; if I removed the arrow and used that text instead of creating a new line of mtext, it would jump every time I would edit it. drove me nuts until I figured it out.

solved the problem by exploding the mtext, then turning it back into mtext using the txt2mtxt command. if there is a lot of mleader text I want to use, this is much quicker than retyping all or even copy/pasting into an mtext window."

Does it remain shifted when you're finished editing?  It shifts during editing for me [Acad2020 here], but goes back to the right place when I'm done.

Yes, when close the editing it reverts to the original location.

Thank you for confirmation.

Hope for a fix.

There is not going to be an end-user fix for that one: report it to Autodesk.
