Hi. I'm new to autocad and I just want to ask why the coordinates being shown in my drawing are so large. Even when its close to the origin 0,0. Im having a hard time drawing lines that are 1,5 because the coordinates wont show smaller values. I hope you can understand my question. Need help please. Thank you. Really appreciate your help.
Hi,
The best way is to enter the value while drawing . I mean that if you want to draw lines start draw and move your cursor to the side that you need and type the length that you want to get it . for me i have never use those coordinates while drawing lines .
Please ... if you mean another thing , make another message .

Hi,

Just to make sure ... you are using a "." (point) as decimal separator and not a "," (comma) ... as AutoCAD can only work with "." as decimal character.
So when you draw a line you can always enter smaller coordinates ... like this:
_LINE
0.001,0.001
0.002,0.002
If it's just the numbers shown in LIST command or in the property window then please start command _UNITS and specify the number of decimal characters you want to have.
